Job Description 
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Partner Success Specialist with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for designated partners, ensuring patients are scheduled accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established service agreements. This role will be responsible for creating a welcoming and positive onboarding experience for both patients and referral partners. 

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with the emotional intelligence to navigate sensitive patient needs with empathy, combined with the professional polish required to interface with valued partners. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and take ownership of ensuring that each individual they interact with has a great experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Serves as the dedicated point of contact for high-priority referral sources.
  • Answers inbound calls and manages referral communications with professionalism and urgency.
  • Schedules appointments with the appropriate provider, location, and timeframe in accordance with partner-specific guidelines and internal scheduling protocols. 
  • Ensures that partner-specific requirements (e.g. SLAs, specified locations, documentation and reporting needs, etc.) are followed accurately.
  • Enters and maintains accurate referral documentation and scheduling notes in the electronic medical record. 
  • Tracks referrals from receipt through scheduling to ensure completion and any follow-ups as needed.
  • Communicates proactively with internal teams to resolve scheduling barriers or missing information.
  • Confirms the patient’s insurance information and coordinates prior authorization process as needed. 
  • Assists other members of the department as needed while maintaining priority oversight of assigned customers.
  • Performs all aspects of patient interaction in an environment that promotes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. 
  • Collects and compiles accurate information for electronic records to perform clerical and scheduling duties accurately and efficiently. 
  • Maintains accurate, legally sound, and complete records. 
  • Interfaces with appropriate medical staff to ensure a cohesive working relationship in providing patient care services. 
  • Completes accurate documentation of informed consent with patients for visits as needed. 
Required Skills and Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College or college-equivalent education is preferred. 
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for this role.
  • Minimum three years of experience in healthcare scheduling or patient services is preferred. Previous experience working in a medical facility is preferred. 
  • Strong organizational and workflow management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 
  • Telephone and computer skills are required.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time-sensitive requests effectively.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of staffing in a calm, professional manner.
Compensation and Benefits: 
  • PNS offers a competitive compensation package including; medical, dental, and paid time off. 
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
